I dont’ know much about computers or the inside of them, so after a ton of Youtube videos I finally got one of these suckers clipped on and inside the HP desktop. The time now is You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. Also SCSI is nearly as old as floppy drives thats why you were seeing very old threads about them. Copyright -Tech Support Forum. Despite being well out of any normal support wondows, Adaptec were very helpful and made all sorts of suggestions.

Windows fails to detect the card automatically. Once I ran Kill Disk on it though, I couldn’t read the hard drive anymore! Software installed and card now recognised. Computer powers off in sleep mode Can I do that?
